How It Works

The ReefSweep Mini is designed to hold and direct the included 3W UV-C module toward affected substrate areas.

By positioning the precision tip close to the outbreak zone, the concentrated UV-C light directly exposes dinoflagellate colonies, helping weaken and reduce outbreaks exactly where they develop.

For best results, hold the ReefSweep Mini still over each affected sand bed area for approximately 30 seconds. This exposure time allows the UV-C light to effectively damage and destabilize the cellular structure of the dinoflagellates.

This targeted approach allows for controlled treatment without affecting nutrient levels, filtration balance, or the overall stability of your reef system.
